Company philosophy
We, Kokura Textile Inc. have our origins in Kokura-ori.
The dignified stripes that extend eternally in an honest manner, and the supple texture of this thick and sturdy cloth.
These characteristics of Kokura-ori are our company motto and the spirit we wish to carry forward into the future.
Based on our 400-year history and traditional techniques, we will continue to challenge ourselves to create world-class textiles for the next 100 years by taking on the challenge of producing high-quality fabrics that are difficult to weave.
